Magical Eclipse

“Every so often the moon puts on a magic light show. It presents it’s awe-inspiring eclipse.”

I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:
Authorworld — Picture – The Eclipse
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Rusty Relic
FOWC with Fandango — Doctrine

Magical Eclipse

A rusty relic in space
The moon orbits at pace
A globe of light and dark
It’s lifeless and stark

Earth’s tide in its grips
Orbiting through a magical eclipse
Witness the solar or lunar shadow
The moon’s greatest show

As the anteumbra ring glows
Love on earth grows
A doctrine of romance will start
Upon a total eclipse of the heart

Thanks for reading my friends.

There’s more in the Poetry CornerPoetry Nook, and the Short Story Collection

Have a great day!
