Those who clung to their precarious lives in the green valley learned the error of their ways. In their desperate attempt at survival, they became aware again, as their ancestors once had before them, how to cultivate the land; how to care for the plants and animals around them, so they all could thrive…
“Welcome, one and all, to the thirty-third regional Thunderfall competition! We have before us today the best of the best – our reigning champs from 42 local competitions, and they’re ready to face off! Whoever wins tonight is headed to Nationals!”
We can look to history
and say//we’ll never repeat the mistakes of those days//But we commit our sins
in similar ways…
