A Lover’s Message

“Having never received a valentines card in my life. Not even during those horrible card posting sessions at school, Valentines has always been one to miss for me. Despite that, I do love to create a little love in my stories. So, Happy Valentine’s to those lucky enough to be loved. Here’s a few words for those in need of something romantic to say.”

A Lover’s Message

By the gift of a slender rose
You own my heart
Even the world knows
I hurt when we’re apart

When you’re near I truly smile
When you’re far my heart is sore
A pain that grows by the mile
The agony of my throbbing ardour

With this message I share
I give love blossoming forever
I bring my soul to bear
And cherish our everyday together

Now I raise my glass of wine
Here’s to us my beautiful beau
May our passion always shine
For I will always love you
