“I’ve always enjoyed spending time with dogs. Unlike many humans, they always accept me and help me find a smile.”
I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:

Ragtag Daily Prompt — Kenspeckle
Pensitivity’s Three Things Challenge — Fob– Hold – Sell
Ken the Pug
I am a kenspeckle pug
A small breed of dog
I adore the fireside rug
You master, are a sofa hog
Now, I don’t wish to be rude
But stop the lies you make
You fob me with stinky tinned food
Then sit scoffing prime steak
You say we’re going walkies
In the woods, we’re going to play
Then hold your phone doing talkies
My patience is beginning to fray
You sell my favourite squeaky toy
Then bring home that meowing brat
Thought I was your special boy
Hope it’s not that skinny rat
So, I wear my sweater and glasses
This serious as a lost glove
Please get off your lazy asses
And give this pug some love
Thanks for reading my friends.

Good morning, Pam!
Thank you, I just had to have a bit of fun with this image!
Don’t you always wonder just what cats and dogs are really thinking at times.

Very forthright speech from Ken. He is right too. We need more walls and less screen time. Thanks Mason for joining in with this lovely poem.

I love this! And those glasses make that pug way smarter looking than mine make me lol

This was a good bit of fun, thanks for reading. My glasses look okay but they give me a pain in the back of my head lately. They spend more time helping the desk see just now!

The pain in the back of your head is probably because you need to see the eye doctor.
The back of your head, right above where the base of your skull meets your neck, is your occipital lobe. It’s where visual stimuli are processed.
If the glasses are too strong or weak they tire out your eyes. If they are very much off, your brain is working overtime to understand the images, and the occipital lobe starts to ache in a migraine type way.
Call the eye doctor. If there’s nothing wrong with the prescription, they can at least tell you what to do.

Thank you, Doctor Marla.
I didn’t know the eyes were processed in the back of the brain. Now the pain makes perfect sense.
I know I’m overdue new lenses. My appointment was cancelled last year and I havent tried to make a new one since.

I get them. That’s how I know. And I studied the brain in school. The only thing I can away with was that the frontal lobe when not properly developed makes you so dumb stuff (aka teenager). The occipital lobe in the back means that glasses are good or bad. Like really bad lol
