“What a soothing way to begin a Monday morning, thank you, Sadje.”
I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:
Sadje’s What Do You See – picture above by Sean Robertson @ Unsplash
FOWC with Fandango — Hypnotic
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Scorch
Serenity’s Stream
Through the hypnotic swirl
The waters meander and flow
A misty stream of liquid pearl
Descending from its earthly plateau
Listen to the soothing babble
Through soft rocks it trickles serene
Washing away anxiety and worldly rabble
A tranquil hug of nature, healing and green
Where life will scorch and burn
Serenity’s Stream cools and anneals
Petrichor rises to help with tree and fern
Nature meditates and your soul heals
Thanks for reading my friends.
