All Alone

“As a lonely hermit aside from my parents and online friends myself, this image hit home for me. All be a friend to someone. It doesn’t hurt and in return you get a friend too.”

I wrote this story in answer to the following prompts:
Authorworld — Picture – Loneliness
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Luminosity
Word of the Day — Driven

All Alone

She used to have friends all around
Then there were none to be found.
Her luminosity extinguished as she drowned
Loneliness is so harsh and profound

Once she felt her family’s love
Her boyfriend cuddled her like glove
Now, life had given her the shove
She’d become a lonely dove

She’s all alone in the hole she dug
Her mental demons looking smug
They all ignore her with a shrug
And all she wants is a loving hug

Don’t allow people to be all alone
Talk to them on the phone
Be kind and offer a friendship bone
Do it and you won’t become all alone

Thanks for reading my friends.

      1. A t school my friends were rather fake. I always felt they just wanted me for my homework.
After that I never really made friends at work either and so have always been a loner really. It’s only recently I made friends online in our community. None appear close though so it is only online.
