“Except the few very lucky ones, nobody reaches their goals and dreams without a fight. You must run the gauntlet of failure. Stand tall on the battlefield of problems. Obliterate the castle walls that stand in your way. Set your dreams in stone and fight until you claim the victors throne!”
I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:
FOWC with Fandango — Diligent
Your Daily Word — Mutable
Pensitivity’s Three Things Challenge — Chair – Stand – Waiver
Dream Stone
Are you the diligent one
Maybe intelligent and fun
Or as mutable as the sun
Perhaps you won’t be out done
Stand tall and strong on a chair
It’s time for you to declare
The incentive which brings you here
Lay your dreams and goals to bare
Set your dreams like Excalibur in stone
Whatever happens never waiver or atone
Powerful desires as strong as bone
Win you the successors throne
Thanks for reading my friends.

Love your synchronicity. I just finished T.H. White’s The Once and Future King and am immersed in Mary Stewart’s The Crystal Cave. Thanks for your inspiring words, Mason.
