Dream Search

“I like everyone had dreams of great success. One by one light bright lights being shot out they were extinguished. I was left empty, futureless, writing on autopilot. With no attainable dream how can you move forward with hope. I had hope I just couldn’t see it. With every story, every poem I was creating hope and reigniting those dreams. I’m not there yet but so long as I keep going the dream glows bright and there’s chance I can reach it. Keep going my friends!”

I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:
FOWC with Fandango  — Search
Your Daily Word — Ransack
Pensitivity’s Three Things Challenge — Pest – Quiet – Rise

Dream Search

Lost dreams cannot be found
Not by google search or bloodhound
Shatter the quiet and ransack around
A lost dream buried in the ground

Dreams don’t have a tangible part
They’re spectral magic within the heart
Broken dreams fade and fall apart
They also reignite with a fresh start

So, come and a pest to fate
Rise and fight, it’s not too late
Your dream is there so don’t wait
Go for it! Succeed and dominate

    1. I’m sorry you feel that way. You keep going and find that thing you really want to aspire too. One day you’ll get there.

There maybe no riches in writing but at least it gives us an escape.
