Magic of Inspiration

A story given in a lucid dream
The glory of a conscious stream
Revelatory nights energising a scheme
A flurry of ideas so supreme

Ideas like lemons ready to juice
Strike and set the characters loose
With childlike joy a tale you produce
A spike of inspiration so profuse

Don’t allow anything to kill your dream
A sallow flow murders self-esteem
Never shallow be your brightest beam
Wallow like a cat who got the cream
