Chaos Mind

“When I step back and look at me, I realise my mood is like a pendulum. My thoughts like an explosion in a shopping mall. It’s a wonder I get anything done! I do though because I have determination to sit and work. To get the days chores done and achieving something before I fall over at night! Come on, you can fight to!”

I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:

Pensitivity’s Three Things Challenge — Individual – Strong – Border

Chaos Mind

Seems my mindset is snafu
I can be lackadaisical its true
In kind I can be strong too
I’m maligned if I don’t win through

Yes, this individual is chaotic
Often remiss and maybe neurotic
I have my wits and I’m not despotic
I avoided the abyss but remained quixotic

So, I’m at the border of nuts
Like a cat stuck in the ruts
Know that I’ll fight with all my guts
Never falling flat or going hazelnuts

Just so you know:
I’m still in the PurpleWall competition with my story Oracle Train. The final round should begin fairly soon!

Thanks for reading my friends.
