Message in a Bottle

“Nothings more romantic and adventurous then to discover a message in a bottle. The thrill of finding the owner and even a treasure is the stuff of many fine tales. So, I wrote a poem!”

I wrote this poem in answer to the following prompts:
FOWC with Fandango  — Upper
Your Daily Word — Beneath
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Bottle

Message in a Bottle

Through sand and sea, it came to me
On land the bottle caught in scree
My hand graced and set it free
A grand message from the sea

Language penned from another place
A girlfriend named in uppercase
Love condemned and lost without trace
A godsend from another place

From beneath the rolling tide, it came
Love bequeaths I research the name
The message a wreath she must reclaim
Sword in sheath, I begin the game

The lady resides in a lonely town
She guides a baby close to breakdown
The message hides and removes her frown
My pride shines like a regal crown

Thanks for reading my friends.
