The Woolly Dog

“A fun little poem about a coat of hair. Seems we writers can compose words about just about anything.”

I wrote this poem for:
Word of the Day Challenge — Ulotrichous

The Woolly Dog

I was told I have ulotrichous hair
A good comment to be fair
It is as woolly as a sheep
Wild, after I’ve been asleep

Write this in big on your blog
I am not a sheep, I’m a dog
Woolly mammoths, have nothing on me
I have the best coat you’ll ever see

My hair is crisp and shiny
Enough to make the other dogs whiny
Monday, I see my groomer, Mr Judd
Now, excuse me! Look at all that mud!

Thanks for reading. There’s more poems in my Poetry Corner.

Have great day!
