Painful Lessons

“The beauty if writing is the artform is unlimited. A writer can construct their words in whatever form or style they choose – Never let an editor tell you otherwise!”

I wrote acrostic poem in answer to the following prompts:
FOWC with Fandango — Series
Ragtag Daily Prompt — Health
Word of the Day Prompt — Heuristic

Painful Lessons

He suffered a series of painful events
Each damaging his health for all intents
Unclear why he had such bad luck
Ritchie left hospital, got hit by a truck
It’s a miracle he didn’t break a limb
Somehow it was heuristic for him
Torturous as it was, Ritchie felt strong
Incredibly he was never down for long
Climbing to his feet, Ritchie marched on

Thanks for reading, my friends. I really do appreciate it.

Don’t forget there’s always plenty more poems in Poetry Corner and stories for you in the Short Stories and Short Stories 2 tabs.

Have a great day!
