This story was written for Pensitivity 101’s Three Things Challenge #345

Today’s three Prompt’s are: Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow
The memories of yesterday, can bring happy thoughts or pain in recurring waves. For all of us; what came before shapes who we are now. It creates our belief and defines our decisions. Forgive and forget if you can. Moving on is a must. Through it all, whatever happens; grow stronger from it and you’ll leave the negativity in the dust!
Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow
They say, we should forget what happened yesterday
Tomorrow is a new beginning, just like today
But what happened in the past
Is always doomed to last
In our memories
Treasuries
Of good and bad
The times that leave us sad
We cannot forget that of yesterday
For those events make us who we are today
They shape us as we move forward into tomorrow too
Whatever happened yesterday; today and tomorrow, just be you
Thanks for reading my friends. As always there are more stories to be enjoyed (I hope) in the Short Stories and Short Stories 2 tabs. There’s also poetry here in Poetry Corner
Have a great day!
One of my favourite quotes is
yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, which is why they call it the present.

A lovely poem, and how fitting it should be shaped like an hourglass. Time is a precious commodity, for sure, and your poem reminds us to spend that time wisely. Well-done!!

It even formed an hourglass of its own accord. I love this one.
Cheers Jim.
