This poem is for the Ragtag Daily Prompt word : Pause
Pause means: To temporarily interrupt action or speech
“A moment’s pause – a single breath doesn’t do much for you in a crisis. However, the two seconds it takes to breathe can gave you the presence and a clear mind to deal with anything.”
Wisdom from Holly Ward
A Moment’s Pause
Take a two-second pause
Breathe for at least a tick
Take a moment to spot the flaws
Relax a minute, it’ll do the trick
Pause your game, go see the world
Leave your screen, take time out
While you were playing a flower unfurled
Go on, give nature an adventurous scout
Pause and realise just what you’ve got
Even if it’s very little, it’ll be more than some
Take a minute to realise you’ve got a shot
Your pause is over, do something, get off your bum
Thanks for reading my friends. As always there are more stories to be enjoyed (I hope) in the Short Stories and Short Stories 2 tabs. There’s also poetry here in Poetry Corner
Have a great day!
The perfect pause.

Ha! Absolutely, we need to ‘get off your bum’ after the pause! Enjoyed this, Mason.
