This poem was written in answer to The Word of the Day Challenge : Reminded
Reminded means: Cause (someone) to remember someone or something — Cause someone to think of (something) because of a resemblance — cause (someone) to fulfil an obligation or to take note of something.
Here’s what I came up with…
Reminded an Acrostic
Reminded of something you mustn’t forget
Eek! The note — you left the cat at the vet!
Memories are more reminders of the past
Incidences of your life, thoughts that last
Notes of smells, reminders of those you knew
Dreams can be mementos of things we go through
Every keepsake, a reminder of things you treasure
Don’t forget the cat’s still at the vet to her displeasure!
Thanks for reading my friends. As always there are more stories and poems to be enjoyed (I hope) in the Short Stories and Short Stories 2 and Poetry Corner tabs.
Have a great day!
A little bit silly, a little bit serious. Nicely done!

Be careful not to overfertilize—this can trigger your
succulent to develop too quickly and turn into weak.
